Sixth through eighth graders compete first locally in Toledo to advance to the state competition. Hundreds of local Toledo students will compete at the University of Toledo this year!

EFAD is an immersive, one-day job-shadowing experience that introduce high school students to real-world engineering through guided tours, hands-on activities, and mentorship. Students will visit the University of Toledo in the morning before visiting an engineering firm in the local area. 

A formal banquet bringing together engineers from across the Toledo/Northwest Ohio region to honor the Engineer of the Year and Young Engineer of the Year, celebrate past engineering achievements and provide a platform for networking and professional recognition.

Introduce a middle schooler to engineering has sixth through eighth graders interact and learn about engineering. Multiple engineering firms, universities, non-profits, and other organizations put on hands activities to show STEM challenges. Professional engineers from a multitude of careers will share their experiences and teach the students. Multiple days are available for students.
